While in Tulum, we will have a nice mix of healing and magical adventures, and rest and relaxation...plenty of time for both. We will do morning meditations, Tai Chi and Yoga on the beach, with many afternoons of playing on the beach, and snorkeling and body surfing in the ocean. (The snorkeling, by the way, is phenomenal. This reef is one of the most spectacular in the world. You can swim out into the ocean from where we are staying, and see many varieties of tropical fish, corals, and other sea wonders. When I was there last, I even got to see a sting ray!)In the evening we will doing healing ceremonies, dancing, drumming and singing under the stars.

Several nights of our retreat, we will be creating some powerful space for healing and spiritual depth through the power of creativity. These Sacred Fire Circles will feature Transformative Trance work guided by the drumming magic of Bright Hawk and the senior staff of The Tantric Shamanism Institute. Prepare to be transformed through drum, dance and song!

We will have the benefit of working with some wonderful Mayan curanderos (healers) and h'me(shamans). Each person in the group will have the oportunity to reacieve an"egg cleansing." in this very ancient shamanic healing practice, teh curendera rubs a special egg over your body to pull negativity and sickness out of you. After that, she cracks the egg, and "reads" the contents to tell you what is wrong in yourbody/mind /spirit,and what to do to heal it.

The cost of this 8 day, 7 night adventure is only $1350-$1550 (depending on your room type.) This includes accommodations, all meals, teachings by Sylvia and other Mayan shamans, translators, transportation and entrance fees to the Mayan ruins . Additional costs which you will cover are: tips for staff, transportation to Mexico, optional session with Maria, and your ride back to the airport via bus or taxi from the beach. This is the first price break. After November 1st, the price will go up $100 per person.
